I’m proud to share that Rabid Fans has officially won both the Webby Award and the People’s Voice Award for Best Creator in Sports.
This is a huge moment for the series/brand, and one that means a lot to me personally. Over the last two years, Zac Greenbaum and I have been working to build something that felt different — something that went against the grain. At a time when so much of sports media and entertainment is chasing the biggest names, the loudest takes, and whatever feels like it will feed the algorithm, we wanted to create something that felt true to our sensibilities: story-first, character-driven, and genuinely fun. Something that could actually last.
Winning both the Webby Award and the People’s Voice Award reinforces my belief in a simple idea that I’ve had throughout my career: story first. Rabid Fans is a big part of that philosophy. More broadly, it reflects how we think at VICTORYROAD Studios & VICTORYROAD+. Whether in documentary, unscripted, scripted, or animation, our focus is on building premium, story-first IP that stands out not just because it is timely, but because it is timeless and distinctive.
Thanks for all the support! More to come.
